CNN Plus Launches: Why An Elder Millennial Cares So Much

I’ve wanted something like this for a while. I have Netflix and HBO for movies, I dabble with a few other subscriptions for special shows, but I need somewhere where smarter people gather and can teach me things.

My readers know that I cut the cord a few years back. The hardest thing has been to find a way to watch CNN. I either had to pay for Hulu Live or a similar platform. Over the past year I’ve paid the lowest subscription option for Hulu to get ABC News.

When I read that CNN Plus was on its way I signed up to get the latest info. It launched today and I already have my shows on my to-watch list. Here goes:

After watching him on an episode of Real Time, I immediately went out and bought his book Post Corona. I listen to his podcast and now I’ll tune into his show. I like that he takes the news on tech and investing and makes it conversational. Those are the kind of voices I like to have in my head — people that know a subject matter well and know how to deliver information on it while making it entertaining.
